"The description of the property was accurate; however, a few things surprised me that would have affected my decision to book or not. First, the house is located beside a busy road where traffic is moving all hours of the day and night at 35-55 mph. For some, this isn't a big deal. For others, it's not as quiet as described. "We looked forward to a get away to enjoy the Catskills foliage in October and this cabin checked all the boxes. The owners, Adam and Chrissy, were more than helpful in answering our questions (especially the last minute TV questions before a big game, and how to operate the shower). "Beautiful home, just like the pictures. Lovely open kitchen, dining table, leading into the living room. Outside view with pond can be seen from couch! Enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor space. Comfortable beds and a thermostat in each room was a big plus. Nearby trails and shopping. Big TV for rainy days.. which we had and nice fireplace . Couldn’t ask for more!"

"Our group of guys loved the cabin. It was spacious and convenient for 12 guys. The cabin was filled with amenities including thermostats in each room, towels, cookware, hot water, and cleaning/hygiene products. Peter and his family responded quickly to all of our messages and requests. This area is quiet and peaceful. The location is about 20-30 minutes from nearby restaurants, trails, and stores. "

"We loved our time here. It was quiet and cozy, just the little get away we needed form our busy lives. Alex responded quickly to my inquiries. The kitchen is well stocked and everything was clean. We enjoyed some hiking around the area and a few great local eateries. "

"The keypad at the door is slightly confusing (but probably mostly b/c I rarely interact with these) but beyond that this was an easy, clean, comfortable rental. "

"I have wanted to stay in one of these vintage vacation cottages for years. We happened to see this listing for an upcoming trip to West Point. I highly recommend staying here. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The only slight issue was finding the driveway to property and the road noise. A sound machine was provided and it was useful. We had a great stay here."

"Cosy room, clean bathroom, useable kitchen with all useful appliances. Loved the back yard with the fire pit. A little bit of a drive from our home but it was worth the effort. I would come again."
