"Beautiful view, clean room and a lovely staff. Especially enjoyed their homemade pizza beside a cozy fire in sitting room. Angela was so kind "

"The manager/owner was very friendly and walked us through the whole place and its facilities. Has ample space to cook food and relax and even do your laundry. Seems well suited for "backpacking through scotland" type trips and also longer stays. Also has a box of kids toys in the lounge which occupied my boy for a good while."

"The check in is SO confusing. We checked in at the castle up the road. They stated we were in the cottage so we went to the cottage which did not have our room number. We went back to the castle and they finally told us to go to the pub and the room was above it. Great room, 2 bathrooms!"

"The place is right next to the water - unobstructed view. The 0.7 mile walk to center of Oban was nice in good weather but we got wet several time (expected this for October). Public transportation was hard to find so needed our car. Our room was a little small and cramped, but we could see other larger rooms. Check in and parking was a bit of a hassle. Great “Continental breakfast “ that included meats, cheeses, baked goods and more- well worth the modest cost "

"Loved staying here. This was our first guest house experience, and it did not disappoint. The room and en-suite were both spacious, with attention to detail. The breakfast was first class service, with personal interaction with the Chef. Would highly recommend to stay here."

"Had a lovely stay at Glengorn Guest House when visiting for the Royal Mòd. Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and tidy with an assortment of tea , coffee and some biscuits. I had opted for a room with shared bathroom which was spotless and close to the room. The accommodation is incredibly close to almost anything you could want and a short walk away from the train and bus stations. "

"Beautiful B&B with super nice owners. Real nice breakfast each day and the location was very convenient for lots of site seeing. Great breakfast each day too. We'd definitely stay here again!"

"I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay."

"This has to be one of the best places for its views that I have been to. So quiet and peaceful, sun was out, absolutely breath taking! Lodge was spotless, spacious and would definitely come back. Well worth the money! "
