"We loved being right on the lake with a beautiful view and comfy livingroom. The beds, sheets and pillows, as well as the sofa, were very cozy. This home offers plenty of aminities. However, we were extremely disappointed in the condition of the home. And we had an invasion of ants. The kitchen and other areas of the house are very outdated. "I really enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely stay here again if I am back this way. I ended up staying a week past my original time all together 5 weeks no problems at all very quiet and peaceful. Once Minnie warms up to you be sure to throw the ball for her."

"There are so many amenities in the home, even books to read! We prepared our meals, played games, walked the historic road behind the house, etc. There is even a fire pit outside in the huge yard! It was a great little vacation from home! We loved it!"

Clean and Cozy

"We try to use this hotel whenever we visit family in Lufkin. Although the hotel is becoming a bit old, the rooms are clean and the hotel is well-maintained. The beds are very comfortable and the walls are thicker than many hotels around the same price point. We have never had a bad experience here and would recommend anyone to stay at this Best Western if they are visiting the Lufkin area."

Lovely stop over spot

"This is an older hotel that has been freshened upand is lovely. Very clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet location. The desk staff was very friendly. We did t stay for the included continental breakfast so we cannot speak to what was offered.there is a fantastic Mexican restaurant across the parking lot with a very nice menu."
