"There is the historic part of the hotel and the modern. We accidentally booked the historic side with no elevator and very small rooms. They were very accommodating and switched us to the modern side with elevators. They have a van that will also take you anywhere you wanna go in town."

We were able to walk across the street one night to watch the Aurora over the bay and mountains. The manager and employees were super nice and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Edgewater!!"

"Nice cheap hotel, 5 minute walk to all the city of Seward has to offer. Free coffee, water, and tea available 24/7. Easy access to extra towels, toiletries, and an ice maker. Dirty lamp over the bed, didnt bother me but dirty nontheless"

"Bedsheet had bed crumbs. Provided Small tiny shampoo & 2 small tiny bar soap for two people provided. Nothing special on this place. You get what you paid for. Decent stay. Recommend to bring your own shampoo, body soap. Overall comfortable stay. "

"Great location. Hotel is an interesting place, if a little dated. Beds were comfortable, but the rooms could have been cleaner. We found a pubic hair on one of the beds and had an unexpected roommate (centipede). Aside from that, the location was great and the staff was excellent - very attentive. The coffee bar was a nice touch as well."
