"This place is great. The views are incredible. We had a great time here and would have loved to stay longer. Watching the sunset from the hot tub, cooling down in the pool afterwards, lying in bed watching the moon set in the mornings. The quiet and peacefulness of the upcountry. "This house was very comfortable and roomy. It is bigger than it appears on the outside. The bedrooms are decent sizes. I appreciated that they had luggage racks in each bedroom (I don't like to keep my luggage on the floor). The water pressure of the showers was very good. The outdoor shower was very helpful in washing the sand off of us. The walk to town is about 3/4 of a mile away, a very easy walk. "The neighborhood is a nice quiet area, with shops & places to eat within a minute walk. The driveway is a bit tricky, but opens up to a beautiful property with plenty of outdoor space. The house itself was very clean & neat, and the rooms all fit our needs. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed a week! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay off the beaten path but still be able to see everything you want!"

"The cottage was exactly as described with upscale finishes throughout. Included were comfy beds, lots of extra towels, places to sit inside and on the lanai. Everything you needed to prepare meals with eating inside and outside. Highly recommend for up to 6 people who want to stay upcountry on Maui. Towns of Paia, Haiku and Makawao are nearby."
