"Absolutely great stay here! We stayed one night to break up our “Road to Hana” trip but we could have easily stay a couple more nights. Don’t hesitate to book here. Ola and Monyca are great hosts and the cottage is really nicely done. This cottage is 5 minutes from town and just a couple minutes from Hana Farms where they have outdoor seating with some really good wood fired pizza. When we come back to Hana, we will 100% be back here."

"My wife and I stayed in the Gingerbread House for a week in June. Eve welcomed us and helped us get oriented with the area, even suggesting places to visit and restaurants to check out. She was very quick to respond to questions. The location of the Gingerbread House itself is generally located in the middle of Maui away from the resorts, where we were able to enjoy a more authentic Hawaiian experience. "Pineapple Cottage is probably the loveliest property we've ever rented. Ivy and Steve were friendly and accommodating but not intrusive, and the location was perfect for exploring places like Haleakala and the road to Hana. Haiku is a great town with friendly nontouristy restaurants and a market that served us well. The cottage is lovingly cared for and the view from the lanai is better than in the pictures. We wanted to take a gecko or two home but left them to greet the next guests!"

"This was our second time staying here. It’s in a perfect location— very close to all of the beaches and activities.. The house has everything you need and very clean. I highly suggest that you make your coffee and take the very short walk down to Hana Bay to watch the sunrise every morning. Also sleeping on the bed in the screened in porch is pretty amazing as well! We enjoyed talking with the nice lady who cleans the home. She’s very kind and does such a wonderful job. Highly recommend!"
