"Wonderful experience! The staff was capable and helpful. The food was delicious. And you can’t beat how close the hotel is to Donguri Street and the Glico Man. One small thing is that the door directly to the women’s bath was somewhat broken and hard to open and close. Other than that it’s a great place for a traditional Japanese experience!"

"I chose this ryokan since it was the only reasonably priced one in the Nara area. It has a beautiful garden just outside our room and the room itself was comfortable and large. The only downside to the place was the strong smell in the room and the cockroach that I had to kill as it crawled across the room."

"It’s a nice property with a beautiful view of the city. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I stayed at the maisonette room and it’s beautiful and relaxing it’s good for a family or big group. The food they served us are delicious. I highly recommend! But be sure to have a vehicle or taxi to get there. We tried to walk to the property from the bus stop and it’s quite a hike but the men at the check point helped us and called the property to pick us up. "
