"This property perhaps is best appreciated by thinking of it as a 'condo ' rather than a posh resort. Very well run, clean, close attention to detail, free parking, loaner beach gear etc. If you are expecting water slides and a lazy river...no. Medium sized pool w/ hot tub that we rarely shared w/ anyone. Do note that the upstairs neighbors were loud -- early (4 and 5 am) in spite of 'quiet time'. We complained once and then let it go... Great home base to Hanalei and local beaches. "

"Property well decorated and accommodating with all essentials. Just be aware there’s no A/C and during heat of day it’s quite warm. This property is on the ground floor so limited air flow at certain times of the day. "

"This was the perfect place to stay. Easy check in. Directions and location. You have everything around you that you need. Safeway and shopping center for gifts and good restaurant around and food trucks. Jennie was such a great host. Great communication. She leave beach towels, snorking gear, beach chairs etc. that really helps a lot for the stay. Very clean when we arrived. I would highly recommend and definitely come back again! "

"Small studio but clean and tidy. Goid complex with small pool and on the beach. Bus stops outside from the airport and also to go up to the north shore, goes to Hanalei. Groceries and places to eat across the road, shops around the area too."

"I am a very particular person when it comes to where I stay. I was a little disappointed in this place, a little mold in the shower, dust on the bathroom lights, just overall well used. We had a good time but had a few small hiccups. The TV didn't work in the living room, the hot water was hit and miss, the linens on the bed are cheap polyester and no rug or towel in the bathroom for when you get out of the shower. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is clean, comfortable, and sweet. We enjoyed walking the trail to get to Sealodge beach, a beautiful cove with calm waters and great snorkeling. The location is picturesque and beautiful and it was a quick drive to Ha'ena and Hanalei. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything."

"The condo has a very comfortable layout, and it’s decorated/ furnished beautifully. ( We’ve stayed in other condos that are very “ticky tacky Hawaiian.” One of the reasons we chose to stay here was because the photos showed a nicely decorated home, and it did not disappoint.) The location is perfect. We walked to the Queen’s Bath. The only constructive note would be to replace the sectional because it was a soft on support. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Perfect vacation rental for a couple. Comfy bed. Unbeatable views. Well stocked with beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, floaties etc. Access to the beach via an elevator. Probably the best vacation rental I've ever stayed at. Loves the musubi truck for a quick bite and jamming banana for coffee. Both are short walks. "

"Good place to stay! 2 full sized beds plus 1 pull out sofa bed. Quiet neighborhood next to a shopping center. Room has a stove, microwave, full sized refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker. Has pots and pans, plates, silverware, and glasses. Good for family of 3 or 4 people. Would stay there again."

"It was wonderful to be able to park right next to our unit. It was also nice having two bathrooms. The space was clean and nicely decorated and comfortable. We greatly appreciated the later checkout granted to us."

"I thought this place was a really nice change from the resorts. Staff was great, rooms were clean if a little dated. It was located out in the middle of nowhere but close to everything in Lihue, so it had a real nice old Hawaii feel. The live music was great. Small family run place. "

"I had an amazing stay at Hotel Coral Reef! The property offers a fantastic ambiance and truly exceeds expectations in terms of service. Cleanliness: Good The hotel was generally clean, but there is some room for improvement in attention to detail, particularly in high-traffic areas. Nonetheless, the accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained. Staff & Service: Excellent The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They were friendly, accommodating, and responsive to any requests I had. I would highly recommend Hotel Coral Reef for its outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit!"
