We enjoyed a magnificent Christmas lunch, delicious breakfasts and wonderful room service meals. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. The houseboat itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and the cosy living areas and bedrooms. The hosts had thoughtfully provided all the essentials, from cookware to cozy blankets for cooler evenings. Speaking of the Henning, our host, he was welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, making our stay even more memorable. The location was ideal- with local shops for food and just a short hop on the train into central Hamburg. If you're looking for a unique getaway, that’s something different from staying in a hotel or renting an apartment, this houseboat is the perfect choice."
