"Just back from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Our first visit to Crete and it did not disappoint. The villa is a 30 min drive from Chania airport. Directions to the property were easy as were the instructions to let ourselves in. The villa itself is amazing and the photos do not do it justice. The house is spacious with large bedrooms which are all en suite. Each room has its own balcony which boasts incredible views and the seating on these make the perfect spot for cocktails...

It was clean and comfortable and if there was anything we felt was missing, Andrie, the host, immediately went out of her way to provide it. On one of the days my husband became unwell with a stomach bug and Andrie was amazing in terms of going to the pharmacy for us to obtain medications and electrolytes. "The villa was beautifully kept, clean and spacious. The hosts were incredibly helpful and arranged all extras if we needed - we even had a chef arrive at the property whilst we were out who cooked a Cretian feast for us for a very reasonable cost. The location was lovely and tranquil with all the mod cons. The villa was cleaned every three days and the pool too. Communication with the host was easy and not intrusive. It’s a lovely area of Crete."

"House was clean with breathtaking views as advertised! Was not prepared for steep hill access to villa. Took a few trips to be comfortable with the drive; recommend a SUB rental.Communication with owner and house manager was on point. Owner provided detailed directions, as per location and surrounding areas. However, still have to be careful with GPS directions as it can take you areas that are not suitable for tourist driving. We had a wonderful family trip, and would recommend Villa Cassandra!"

"The villa had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing break. The location is a little isolated so a car is definitely needed, and with it being so hot walking to village wasn’t a good idea! Armenoi is a few mins drive away, Kiosky is a lovely little coffee shop with gorgeous treats. Kalyves has a lovely beach, 10 mins drive with beach bars and restaurants. For some really big waves, we headed to Episkopi beach. Lake Kournas is worth a visit too (but go early). The pool was a welcome relief...
