"HOSHINOYA resort is a great place for relaxation. The environment filled with natural forest and maple trees. The service was exceptional. However, there were mosquitoes problem possibly harvested by the pond in the property. Hopefully the hotel can find solution to help with this problem. "The staff and cleaniness of the hotel was good, but it was way way overpriced for the type of room (unit style bathroom etc). Also the food was incredibly expensive - JPY8,000 for a dinner bento box (looked like something that would cost around jpy 1,500 at any other place). I have been living in Japan over 25 years and I would not recommend the hotel because it was so overpriced. I drive a ferrari but otherwise i focus on value for money and this was certainly not value for money. Staff...
