"Loved this hotel. Has probably best sunset views in town over the River Kwai with a happy hour timed to enjoy view. Bridge over river Kwai is 5 minute walk from hotel. Food and restaurant was excellent. Rooms were really nice although some might find them a little on the small side but convenience and sunset views can't be beaten."

"The hotel is quite a long distance from Bangkok, but for a couple of nights it is worth a visit (and the 2-3 hour drive across from Bangkok). The setting on the river is beautiful. We have one of the rooms with the kayaks, and these are easily accessible/ readily available. The only drawbacks were that there really is nothing to do in the local area, and to get into the town centre the only option is to use the hotel's taxi service (no other local services or Grab options available). There wasn't much privacy for sunbathing at the top of the room we had, but this was no trouble really. All day breakfast, with bubbles available with this too, was a good touch of flexibility (with food options being tasty) good value for the price. Clean, comfortable and very conveniently located for the BTS and other local activities (street food, massages, night markets etc.). Transport to and from the airport is handy too, via public transport. Hotel gives two free bottles of water per day as well."

"This place has the feel of a 5 star resort that once was, years ago. It needs many repairs and a lot of cleaning, but most of all it needs solid leadership to make it a reputable place I would recommend for above average where it could be with simple cleaning and repairs. The dirt and grim are sustained deposits of neglect. Easy repairs exists (like simple door locks) abundantly. The area is profoundly beautiful and a great site to enjoy. The staff we interacted with were respectful and courteous."
