"Danna is a stunning hotel overlooking the sea & the biggest swimming pool I’ve seen in a hotel. The staff are stupendous , always smiling & helpful with anything you need. There are no shops or restaurants nearby so we always dined at the hotel. Overall a brilliant stay."

"Blissful stay, staff were cheerful and extremely keen to make one's stay enjoyable. Idyllic location. Our rainforest villa was very private, cleverly architected and comfortably laid out inside. The private splash pool was larger than I expected. The only improvement i can think of would be to have an adjustable parasol by the sun loungers (they were just too hot to use for quite a lot of the day). Thanks for a lovely stay."

Spectacular setting and beautiful beach; rainforest villas in the heart of the jungle with copious wildlife (macaques, dusky leaf monkeys, monitor lizards, great hornbills, otters swimming in the sea, butterflies...); outstanding and really friendly service; excellent food. There is very little not to like about this outstanding hotel in an outstanding location. "

"Returned for my 4th visit after a 5 year break due to Malaysia being closed to foreign tourists. The hotel has been extensively renovated during the lockdowm so we spent much more time by the pool and the rooms were great. Miss the vibe of the Cba beach bar. The pelangi grill feels more like a restaurant than a bar. Stayed for 3 nights and noticed the buffets were smaller than before covid and the options were fairly consistent for the 3 nights we were there. Would have liked more variety and missed the Malaysian sweets and dishes and vegan options that we enjoyed in 2020. As on our previous visits the staff were very friendly and efficient. Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would love to return for a longer stay next year "
