"The staff at this hotel makes the stay even better! Beautiful modern hotel with superb rooms. We had a great room on the 6th floor overlooking the sea and pool view. The rooms are so quiet with great a/c, so we had perfect sleep conditions. The evening buffet is fantastic value including drinks and we akso tried a number of local restaurants within 5 mins walk."

"Rooms were good, beds comfortable, staffs friendly and ready to assist. Breakfast was excellent at Rice Garden. There were a few maintenance issues like water clogging in wash basin, tv remote not working, door card was not working at times. However staff immediately assisted to resolve issues. We booked for two Delux Double rooms. The rooms were on the other side of the GF even upon request placed during booking to give us rooms next to each other. Sofa bed was provided instead of single bed in the rooms. These were later changed upon request. Overall the experience was very good. Loved the lounge and pool area. There was always a pleasant breeze in these areas at all times which made us unwind and relax. 99island bar and service was great. "

"Stayed in Langkawi for 5 days and decided to try La villa for 2 nights as I heard nice things about it from friends, it was quite intimate very with a very relaxing atmosphere, furnishing were not luxurious but very comfortable, and the bed was just as comfortable as any 5 star I’ve stayed at if not more, fridge was fully stocked with drinks and snacks which was a plus. Breakfast is served either in a restaurant or in the villa which is what we opted for, you send your order through WhatsApp chat it was very nice. They also have activities for you to chose from we did the 2 hour Mangrove tour and they provided free return transfer. The staff were amazing and very helpful . Especially Ahmed who provided us with excellent service. Hope to stay again soon"

"I’d give Ambong 11/10 stars if I could. We had such an amazing stay for 8 nights in a deluxe sunset pool villa. The service was excellent, the staff were amazing and friendly, the food was superb! We loved all the food at Rimba and the Pegaga vegan cafe on site. The Amaala spa was great - had multiple massages. The Amaala Signature 90 mins treatment was great. The pool villas are on a steep hillside, so guests with mobility issues may need to carefully consider suitability - though a car shuttle was offered whenever requested. The monkeys can be a bit cheeky and steal food so just be mindful of what you leave lying around. I can’t recommend Ambong pool villas enough. We had a very very relaxing stay."
