"This Lahaina Area has a lot going for it for folks looking for an easygoing Hawaii experience. If you're just going around the area, driving is more trouble than it's worth. There are some places like the Fairway Plaza and the Maui Ocean Center that are awesome and driveable. I don't recommend worrying about too much about the "high-end restaurants" the best thing I got at Buck's was the Fish and Chips. Highly recommend the shave ice and the ice cream."

"We splurged for a milestone birthday celebration for my husband. The resort is stunning. There are a lot of kids and families but if you aim for adult only areas before families are up it works out well. Beautiful resort "
