"Our stay at this resort was okay, but I gave them extra points because they gave us a late checkout of 1:00pm for no charge. Our ocean/pool view room was nice, the beds comfortable. But I was under whelmed by the pool. Why they need a 8’ and 9’ deep section, I do not know, but it didn’t even have an edge to sit and enjoy the water. The sitting edge is only in the shallow end. Their below average pool is why I would not stay there again. "

"The place is beautiful and it was plenty big for the family of five. The only drawback - we were told that there would be supplies and if we ran out, we should buy the rest. That seemed fair but for a family of five, the amount of shampoo that was left was enough for one person. Outside of that, it was great and we would rent it again! The balcony was enormous and worked well for our family!"

"The property was as advertised- clean, stylish, well supplied, great location. We had all the dishes and cooking supplies needed to prepare a holiday meal for our family, who stayed in several condos. We made great use of the beach chairs and umbrellas, as well. "Location - right next to the dumpster and the smoking section… nothing like trash and smoke smell all week. The room was similar to a rundown super 8, not clean, the beds were not comfortable and didn’t really feel comfortable staying there. There was 1 box of Kleenex with 2 tissues in it, lack of dishes had us running dishwasher daily, and the demands by the host made us feel like we had to leave it cleaner than when we came. We were not impressed in the least and will not recommend nor stay...

"My family had an incredible stay at the Hyatt Vacation Club this July. The rooms have all the comforts of home that made an extended 2-week vacation most comfortable: full kitchen, washer/dryer, housekeeping, and more. "This VRBO rental was outstanding! The condo was amazing and I feel that the pictures online did not do it justice! There was a full kitchen, living room, dining table, a huge walk-in bathroom with his and her sinks, a walk-in glass shower, and a separate large tub! It also had its own master bedroom and the bed was very comfy! The closet space was perfect, and even was stocked up with beach chairs, pool noodles, a full ice chest, and even a high chair and booster seat which we didn’t need lol!...

"We enjoyed this condo - it had many great amenities. The bed was very soft. Pull out couch worked well, although a little uncomfortable for older kids. Full kitchen with nearly all the wares you would need to prepare/serve meals. Nice washer/dryer too. But the best part.... The VIEW is absolutely amazing!!! FULL Ocean view - with many turtles right below too. Good neighborhood with some great restaurants, bars, nail salon, beach rentals, gas station, etc nearby. Would definitely recommend."

"This is a perfect unit in a very nice building right on the waterfront. The unit was clean, very comfortable and well appointed. There was even a blender to make smoothies. Great view of the beach and the ocean. The lobby, barbecue and parking were spacious, clean and easy to use. Great location and good access to shops and restaurants. We’ll be coming back for sure!"

"We were pleasantly surprised at about this resort. First off, receiving the Expedia gold upgrade was amazing!! Received a huge 2300 sf 2 bedroom suite with a wraparound oceanfront deck. Just sitting on the deck with the waves at the shore was a highlight of our trip! The facility had all that we needed and was right across the street from grocery/pharmacy and had a food truck area every night with great food. "We enjoyed our stay at the Honua Kai Resort and Spa. It's location was ideal for us. The studio was the perfect size for the two of us, and loved having the kitchenette for simple fixings. The balcony had a lovely view, and feel that the location to the beach and to Duke's made everything so easy. The bed/pillows were quite comfortable and easy access to valet parking. The parking valets were all very friendly and helpful for suggestions or directions."
