The introduction to zazen was great, though Japanese speakers will get most out of this - ditto the lecture before morning service. "After a very tiring couple of days, I was so glad I picked this hotel to retire to. Right next to the Shinkansen station but quiet and spotlessly clean with a great sized room this was the perfect business hotel. "

"We had Suite Room B and it was very spacious and well maintained. Rurikoh had many good services (free shuttle to/from Kagaonsen train station, spa w/massages, outdoor foot onsen, taiko drum performance, free afternoon snacks), a beautiful outdoor onsen and large indoor one, very good traditional Japanese breakfast, and very welcoming staff. A short walk (approx 8 min) to several grocery stores and restaurants."
