Mark was a wonderful host, and I really appreciated him meeting me and showing me around the home so I was prepared for my stay. "We had a great stay for my 12-year-old's birthday weekend. He loved the pool table, air hockey, dart board, and arcade games. The house was comfortable and the bedrooms were nice. We were there in the dead of winter and the lake was frozen over, so we didn’t spend anytime outside, but I'm sure it is lovely in the summer. The house was clean and nicely decorated. We would stay there again."

" Property is a nice, comfortable home. However, it advertises it sleeps 8 with a pull out couch. The couch is old and worn and had no sheets to make it into a bed. Cleanliness could be improved. When you show up, be sure you have every item you need such as sugar, coffee, paper products and water. You cannot use the tap water in the appliances. Bring a bag of ice as there is no ice maker. "This was our second time staying and it served our family well for the location and the space available. The upstairs shower is very challenging to use as far as getting the right water temperature. Otherwise is is a beautiful home."

"My wife and I went there as a romantic getaway. It is a beautiful space, clean, lots of space (entire floor) and unique, cozy atmosphere. The owner is friendly and accommodating. He is constantly improving the property. Everything was pretty much brand new. "

"House was very clean and had everything you would need. The beds were very comfy. And location is great and walkable to town. The only thing to make note of is one of the bedrooms only had a small futon as the bed. Great for kids but no way an adult could sleep comfortably. But one of the rooms had a king bed so we just doubled up so wasn’t an issue for us. But could be if you needed 3 separate beds for adults. Would stay again. "

"We had a group of 12 stay for a long ice fishing and had a great time. We stay somewhere different in Michigan every year. The pool table was a hit when we would come in off the ice. Nice big house with plenty of sleeping room for everybody. We all enjoyed our stay and would not mind going back again sometime, whether it’s summer or winter. "
