"From the beautiful 38' yacht, to the restored netshed and the ambience of the harbor - I cannot recommend this stay enough, especially if you are a boating enthusiast. Access to the walkable waterfront, great restaurants, shopping is convenient and you may even be visited by otters or harbor seals while on the yacht. I will be back! "

"I crave the water but live in the desert. Renting the Shamrockin for a water experience was an excellent decision. The location is 10/10! Shops and restaurants are just steps away from the private dock and yet the location remains calm, quiet and restorative. You can walk everywhere with ease. The boat is charming and cozy with a lot of personality. The bedding is comfortable and all rooms have a small but efficient electric heater. October can be wet and cold in Gig Harbor. "We really enjoyed our stay here and were so glad we found it after our first accommodations fell through due to fraudulent listing. I would suggest expedia lets you know that after booking you will be asked for your credit card and to scan your ID via an incoming email. That process made me nervous and kept me awake at night even though it all seemed to turn out fine. "

"This place was better than advertised! You basically have the entire shoreline to yourself. We strolled up and down exploring ocean treasures several times daily. The kids asked if we could return during summer on day one! The kitchen is great! We cooked an entire thanksgiving dinner no problem. "We live on-island and had family in town so we booked this house on the water to accommodate everyone. This house was well-equipped for cooking insofar as cooking utensils. Be sure to bring your own necessities, like oil, salt, and sugar. It was very comfortable—beds and bedding—and there were climate controls in each room. You’ll want to buy some firewood in town for the crazy wood stove. Very clean. Amazing views. Great showers. We would stay here again. "
