"My husband and I enjoyed 5 days at the Agave House. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The views were great and we enjoyed peace and quiet. My husband loved gravel bike riding in Patagonia and we enjoyed the Paton Center for birdwatching. Kathryn responded quickly to a question I had during our stay. I would love to make a repeat visit!"

"Unfortunately only one night here. What a unique find, from the moment we arrived. A large, bright, art-filled, colorful, non-chain motel with plenty of parking, north end of the heart (they told me) of downtown Old Nogales, AZ. Ask about drinking water; they do offer that. Staff was super helpful when we thought our up-on-the-wall heater would not turn on, offering to come up and look at it. [FYI: "sometimes they need a minute to warm up and turn on"-- ours took well over 15 minutes... but DID turn on, for that rare cold night!] Room was large, and the bed and linens were comfortable. BREAKFAST: A reason to stay here longer! Delightfully different set-up and food offerings, of Mexican and North American foods, and fresh homemade pancakes coming right off the griddle right out of the hidden kitchen every few minutes. There are waffle machines, too, and more. And other than most tables being unusually short for us (a couple were "just right"), it was all in a lovely setting and delightful. Do drive the few blocks around the Old Town and see the old city center before heading back north whether heading to the NW or the NE. This whole place made returning here a very intriguing idea to us! "

"Rancho Sonoita was the perfect place for us to stay when we were in the area for a wedding. The casita has beautiful views, and the setting is quiet and relaxing. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the casita is comfortable and spacious. The well-equipped kitchen worked out so well for us. The large patio area and gas grill were another bonus. We felt fortunate to visit with Joy and Kim (the owners) while we were there. They are wonderful hosts, and wonderful people. We highly recommend this property. "
