"Great as most Paradores. Friendly and educated staff Need a car to reach, in the map it looks closer to train station but it's uphill and not so easy to get to."

We had everything we needed and we only went out once preferring to enjoy the extensive gardens and the burgeoning friendship with Pascal & Christa who could not have been better hosts. If your looking for something away from the tourist traps where you can relax, relax and relax a bit more then book some time here."

"We enjoyed a fabulous week in August at Casa Brigadoon. The Villa is located on the Hills outside Iznajar with stunning morning views of the sunrise over the mountains and the Olive groves. The pool is spectacular- I believe 16m by 6 so very large for a holiday rental. The house is fully kitted out with everything you could need and we enjoyed meals in the fabulous shaded outdoor seating area. The new Aircon in all the bedrooms meant sleep was comfortable despite the midsummer heat. Supermarkets are plentiful and we ate out in Iznajarx2 which was nice quality. The purpose of our trip was to visit Granada and Cordoba which the property its1.20mins in between both. They are just stunning cities. One final note Pam and Tom could not be more helpful with Pams exquisite Lemoncurd and other goodies in the fridge and Tom constantly on the go to make the pool as wonderful as possible for you. We loved it.of "

"This is a beautiful traditional style home in the Andalusian hills. We had a perfect relaxing escape. It was the height of summer, but the numerous terraces afforded plenty os hade, and the saline pool much needed refreshment. It is also a great base to explore Granada (easy 1 hr drive). Kimberley, the housekeeper was excellent - always on hand to answer any queries!"

"The property was so authentic and beautiful. Dated but for us this was a good thing as it felt local and special. Paqui was extremely helpful even though he didn’t speak much English, his daughter helped communicate with us via WhatsApp and gave us lots of recommendations and support with travel. We were hoping to use taxis but because of the villa location this is not possible all the time so if you’re staying here you should definitely get a Hire car! The biggest supermarket was 17 min drive away and there was a petrol station about 8 min drive that sold all the basics. We had 2 nights out in the town where we drove one car in (2 trips) and got 2 taxis back to the villa and collected the car the next day using the other car (9 of us in total went) The views were incredible and the beds comfy. Air con was awesome! It felt like home the minute we arrived. Paqui also provided fresh veg! We were all very sad to leave the villa and are missing it a lot. We hope to return! Absolutely stunning! "

"In a stunning setting we had a brilliantly chilled out week here . We spent our time relaxing by the well maintained pool or venturing out to El Torcal and also the dolmens de Antequera . We would definitely come back ."

"Property was just as described and host was responsive and very helpful. Wonderfully private setting with out of this world views, yet short drive to villages of Iznajar and Rute. Pool was great and layout of the house worked very well for our family. Host (Jim) even helped us jump start our car battery which had died! We would highly recommend this beautiful getaway spot."
