"Enjoyed both nights at the English Inn. Pleasant & helpful staff, great location near major highways, comfortable bed & room. Great manor-like sitting room, w/ library & fireplace, near lobby. Inn was under renovation when we stayed; there was minor construction noise starting around 9 a.m. "

"Stayed here while skiing at Wintergreen, an easy 30 minutes away. The rooms were comfortable, and we really enjoyed having an outdoor fire and smores in a lovely wooded ambiance after our ski days. I can imagine this would be a perfect place in summer/fall too if you’re traveling to the mountains. Will absolutely stay again. "

"My wife and I stayed here overnight following a New Years Eve gathering at Veritas Winery. With only a 6-minute drive and minimal traffic, it was very easy navigating to and from the winery for our event. The unit was very clean and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the host was thoughtful and kind. We have discovered a lovely gem in the Virginia wine country, and we look very forward to our next stay here!"
