"First of all, this property is amazing - and exactly as shown. It's also in an amazing neighborhood. What others have stated is true: If you want to experience Lake Como from an actual neighborhood, look no further. But the most wonderful thing about this property is the host, Giulia. "Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Especially the view is great and the garden is ideal for kids, (fully fenced!) and well taken care of (the gardener arrived just when we left). There's a slide, a grill and an inflatable kids pool which made a big difference! Also we were happy with the nice baby bed. And communication with the owner was excellent. But there are a few drawbacks: - unfortunately there are cables running right across the view - the kitchen is extremely poorly equipped. there...

"The view from Villa Carolin is amazing and we lived on the terrace! The property worked well for the four of us as we wanted a bedroom each. Felt it should be clearer in the listing that the two floors are not connected and only accessed from the outside. A small microwave would have been an advantage. "The house is great, wonderful view, and house manager Alessandro very helpful. There were a couple of things one needs to be aware of, though. Access to the “master” bedroom on the top floor requires you to pass through the second bedroom, which could be a problem for two couples staying there. "We enjoyed a one night stay here. Giacomo greeted us upon our arrival and provided instructions for bringing in the luggage and use of the apartment. We enjoyed the modern kitchen and were able to have dinner there. The view from the balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore was spectacular. There was a nice little outdoor area in front with some chairs. Giacomo was on standby for several questions by phone as we were getting settled in. "

"The house is very nice and perfectly located for all types of activities by and on the lake. Everyyhing was perfect including the hospitality of Antonella, the landlord and the tranquility of the area. Perfect spot for a quiet holiday recharge."

"Great house. Great space both indoors and outdoors. Great location. Each bedroom with its own bathroom. Perfect for family of 4 or 5. Lack of A/C tough when very hot. My suggestions would be some window covers (so easier to sleep in) and get some nicer outdoor furniture so guests can take better advantage of the 2 terraces which are quite lovely."

"Great location. Stayed with my parents and our 7 months year old baby. Apartment was very clean and Felicita was always available, very friendly, and explained everything. Very accommodating to find parking for our second car. Only a few meters away from the lake for swimming, could carry our paddleboard to the lake which was great, close to restaurants and ice cream. "Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr individuell eingerichtet ubd empfiehlt sich nur für Leute, die fit genug sind, um die 4 Ebenen zu nutzen. 😉 Wir haben hauptsächlich auf der Dachterrasse "gelebt", was bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen angenehm war. Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist die Weinbar vor der Haustür. Der Kontakt mit der Agentur war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert."

"This property is awesome. The views are different from each unit, but the one we had was beautiful. The unit was roomy, comfortable. The employees at the office are very pleasant and helpful. Great two nights stay.

"The location was in a great location to get to and from Lake Como and also Lugano (Switzerland via train and bus). It was also very easy to get to from Milano Cetrale. The Hotel itself was better than expected given the rate and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We asked for breakfast at an extra cost and again, wasn’t disappointed. The only thing we didn’t like was the pillows but as that’s a very personal thing to get right, you can’t please everyone! I’ll be looking out for B&B hotels in other locations. "

"We booked a last minute stay at this hotel for New Years Eve. We booked two rooms, and both were upgraded to have a lake view, and the hotel was kind enough to give us connecting rooms since we were there with our two tween sons. The hotel was in a PERFECT - PERFECT location!! The rooms were comfortable and had balconies. We would have had a perfect spot to watch all of the NYE fireworks, if not for the fact that our sons wanted to be on the lakefront. :) I absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Como!!!"
