"I've stopped at Lilleshall a couple of times now, both times in block K accomodation, which are decent enough rooms, the restarant in the old hall always has some nice food being served, although the restaurant is not huge, so book early to avoid disappointment."

"Lovely overnight stay in Shrewsbury! Loved the style of the property and service was great on arrival, loved the communal areas and honesty bar, while room was characterful, comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!"

"An interesting pub with decent food, ideally situated for the iron bridge 10 mins walk away, and the museums . My room was comfortable and warm enough given the -5c outside. it had a part glass floor with industrial archeology visible through it. "

"This is a 300 year old property and as such had wonky floors it's in a traditional pub that's owned by a Black Country brewery, Holdens although other beers are stocked. Our room was quirky but clean and comfortable with a well appointed shower room including minimum toiletries. The breakfast is traditional but not extensive but perfectly adequate, there's no other meals available here but the pub is in the centre of this lovely Shropshire town that's full of restaurants to choose from. "Stopped for one night as at a wedding nearby, room was very clean and cosy, not a huge room but just perfect for a one night stopover, very warm and super quiet at night, breakfast was very nice with eggs from the local chickens who just wondered around the gardens, very friendly owners who made you feel very welcome and a lovely well behaved pet dog..."
