"My stay at El Misti was superb!! I stayed in a private room during 7-13 November. It was my first time in Rio, and this was the perfect place to meet people!! They organise lots of events, and having easy access to the beach with a ticket for a free chair is an addes bonus! I can definitely recommend El Misti to others, and will likely stay here (or at least visit the amazing bar during happy hour!!) when I return, muito obrigado El Misti!! Tom"

"Terrible experience staying locked out till 4:16 pm in the heat sweating waiting for someone to know what was going on, the property had no clue of my reservation, hotels.com is trying to get a hold of them but yet they can’t do anything about it, mind while I’m in the other side of the world out in the heat waiting and the time I took to register 2/3 days prior to arriving was in vain total waste of time I wouldn’t recommend this place for anything, not a chance to an early check in, not a chance to a check in on time, not a chance to hold your bags while you wonder around till the check in time, and they didn’t want to give me an hour later for checkout, a total fail completely incompetence and regretful I chose that place to stay there."
