"Perfect place for us to escape the noise and have a weekend retreat! The location and the house were absolutely beautiful, peaceful and quiet Ideally suited for prayer as well as for relating. The house was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, well-apportioned and had everything you could need - including kitchen supplies and toiletries. "We had great weather, the hot tub is amazing and I could sit and watch the river all day long. The ducks were cute on the river as well, I think they were Common Golden Eye ducks. The cabin is comfy and had everything needed for our stay. "

"Listing was exactly as described, clean and very well kept. What they didn’t mention was the amazing view. Never got tired of having breakfast and dinner with that view. It was perfectly tucked away just enough to be secluded but not super remote. It really was the perfect cabin retreat. "

"A beautiful view from the balcony. Our teen kids and aunt loved this location. It was perfect for a quiet get away. The only negative was slow internet but it was good to get kids off their devices. We hope to rerun again. "

"We had an amazing time staying in this beautiful home. Communication and pre-trip information was outstanding, and the house was exactly as described. We didn’t even need to leave the property, we had everything we needed right there. Loved seeing a wild turkey and a baby deer with its mama, and the view from the kitchen and dining area was so serene. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Was looking for a 3 day weekend getaway to celebrate my adult daughter’s birthday. We wanted to be close to Cacapon State Park for hiking. Also needed a dog friendly place. "We had the perfect relaxing getaway. The fireplace was amazing, kitchen had everything you need and the view from the deck was great for watching the eagles. There is plenty of room to spread out. A highlight for us was the steam shower!!! We will be back."
