"The room was nice and cosy, with lovely fireplace character. The sheets and towels were crispy clean and ironed. The private bathroom was great with warm tile floor as well. My remarks - one of the steps leading to the bathroom had a torn off carpet, so it was sliding. There was a little bit of dust here and there. Other than these, my stay at The Stag was very enjoyable. "

"Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. He quickly removed what appeared to be used towels from the bathroom and replaced them. I then questioned the cleanliness of the bed - it looked used and there were hairs on the sheet (the guy blamed the cleaner who he...

"Arrived very late, flight delays and then a road closure forcing a substantial detour. Thankfully my room card had been left out with a useful note and I was able to access the room. It was cold, no curtains, and couldn't figure out the heating but the bed was warm and that was all I cared about! Shower okay in the morning, Job done. Thanks."

"Location for Stansted Airport good, in country though. Nice room, bed & shower but dinner is only up to 8:30pm and no breakfast available for early flights as it’s only served from 8am and needed to leave by 7:15. They did offer a takeaway breakfast but it was poor (they don’t normally offer it) and needs to be organised properly for it to be beneficial to the customer."

"Perfect friendly welcome from the lovely girl on reception, was transfered from a local crack den called Stifford Clays farm due to double booked so was so relieved to stay in such a nice hotel with friendly pleasant staff, would certainly stay here again"

The staff at dinner and breakfast were so kind and welcoming, professional, completely faultless. The staff made the stay that much more special, so thank you. We cant wait to stay again. "

"It is not a place i would recommend to lone females. Its not a hotel so unsure why its on hotels.com. The ffont curtilage is unkempt with weeds growing through blockpave, the rear garden is like a jungle. Not even facilities for a welcome or early morning brew unless you bring your own. Tge walls are paper thin so you gear everything. I was in room 4 which was basic, clean bedding but curtains that allow light tgrough. The overgrown shrubs in the rear garden are at window height for first floor...

"Room was good. Ungortunately 1 drawer was full of old McDonalds cartons. The staff cleaned it as soon as reported. Some noise from neighbouring rooms throughout night"

"The holiday always starts with an overnight at the Hampton by Hilton - warm welcome by nice people, a friendly place where crucially you get SUCH a good nights sleep, there really is nothing we don't like about arriving and staying here. I'm never doing 2am drives to the airport again!!"

"Amazing stay at MOXY Stratford. Staff is very cool and friendly. It is more than a Hotel ! You can drink, work, play games all the night with fun music background. Confort is good, rooms are clean and well maintained. Stratford is full or restaurants near where you can eat till late night. There are EU sockets for European travellers in the room and USB ports ready to use also, no need for adaptées (althrough in our room, 2 USB ports near the bed were not working). Prices at the bar are correct, and pizzas are really good ! Stratford station is at 2 minutes walking away from the hotel, and deserves the most stations (Jubilee, Central, Circle and more). Westfield shopping center is 2 minutes walking too (shopping to room is made easy, of course !) Hope to come back soon 👌"

Spring River Ebbsfleet by Marston's Inns

"The staff couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly! Was so happy with the convenience of being near a Coop and the restaurant/bar nearby. Was able to have a delicious meal there one evening. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything I needed. There wasn’t any noise from the other rooms apart from the doors slamming occasionally. The hotel in general was very quiet. Am definitely booking to stay here again whilst I am working in the area. Very happy! "
