"My wife and I go to Southend often and found the Hamiltons Boutique Hotel which we haven't stayed in before. We had a message in the morning to confirm what time we'll be arriving which I thought was a nice touch. We had a lovely welcome and being out of season, we was given the Hamilton Suite with a sea view. The whole hotel was lovely and clean and bright with lots of light. "This is a local no-frills pub with a few rooms for accommodation. It was ideal for our overnight stay. We had a few drinks in the bar, had a brilliant spicy pizza ( cooked to perfection) and enjoyed a pleasant conversation with a local worker. Breakfast was plentiful with food to suit all tastes. The bed was very comfortable and all programmes on the tv were accessible through TNT. "

I was given a double bed room but actually it was two single beds and there was a big crack in the middle of the two single mattresses, I couldn't sleep whole night due to this, whole next day my back was hurting.
