"Beautiful location within Manistee National Forest. There was plenty of refrigerator and freezer space for our pre-cooked Thanksgiving dinner. We hoped to do more hiking and outdoor activities during our week stay, but weather didn't cooperate. We had a great time anyway, playing lots of board games!"

"This is a small cabin on a branch of the beautiful Pere Marquette River. The view from the large dining area window is picturesque. "Our stay was great. The cabin was cute and comfortable. Very quiet area with a great view. The host was very prompt in responding to our two very minor questions about the lock and more wood for the stove. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The only thing I would say is the kitchen pots and pans are very minimal. So if you are like us and cook most meals I would recommend bringing what you need pan wise. All in all a nice relaxing weekend away. "

"Sweet cabin on the river—we had a great week with our dog. The loft bed ladder is just fine, if you’re concerned looking at the pics, and the porch/Blackstone/hot tub plus the view made for a lovely retreat in the woods. We had a few hiccups, and the hosts were super responsive. Beautiful and peaceful! "

"This was our third year here for a week. We love love the new deck and siding! Such a treasure I hate sharing how much we love this place for fear it will be booked up when I want to stay. Very homey and comfortable! It’s the next best thing to owning the place myself. ur favorite place to get away for a peaceful week.
