"Our weeks stay at the Herdsman’s House a few kms from downtown Sligo was magical. The accommodations were as advertised, impeccably clean, spacious and cozy at the same time. Spectacular views of Sligo Bay and the surrounding farmland. Sheep and cows in pasture surround the Herdsman’s House. "We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. "Cream cottage is comfortable and equipped with everything required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, in a beautiful area, with a wonderful view of Knocknashee- the Hill of the Faeries. We were able to visit so many places during our stay. So much to see and do throughout the county, whatever you’d interest. Returning to the cottage each evening was lovely, sara was very responsive to any queries before and during our stay. "
