So, the room was excellent. The facility itself has a bit of a motel feel, but that's made up for by how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is, going as far as to offer plenty of suggestions for dining, shopping, etc. I'd probably go 4 stars on this location, if it wasn't for the service really going above and beyond and making my stay really that much more enjoyable.

I have not been to a Lodge where it felt like I was family and that no question was too outlandish. The front desk was very helpful. The view from our room was outstanding and restful. I would return in a heartbeat. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Lovely spot, lovely location. It’s a quick walk to the beach with its restaurants and pubs, but I highly recommend The Venue next-door for dining and drinks.

Probably better for golfers or larger groups
The place is in a beautiful location to relax and probably even better for golfers. Everything was good but we found the service in the restaurant to be slow and disorganized. Staff seemed inattentive and at the front reception as well. I ordered the steak and it was not nearly as good as I had hoped for. Nice rooms but we didn’t realize we had shared living space downstairs which meant getting fully dressed to go fetch morning coffee or water.

Stayed only one night and everything was perfect. Shout out to David at the front desk. He set us up for wonderful dinner reservations and had great suggestions on a pub or two. Loved the balcony and view!

This property has a lot to offer as a bed and breakfast option. Strandhill is a charming seaside resort with a definite surfer vibe. The services not offered by the hotel are easily accessed nearby. The reception staff were very helpful. The issues that prevented me from giving a five star review were the badly worn carpet in the bedroom and the 3 minute 'make-up' service.

Located in a vibrant seaside resort, this property offers excellent accommodation. It is not a full service facility but there are multiple opportunities to eat and drink nearby. Parking available. Ten minutes by taxi to Sligo. Range of accommodation options available. The staff were friendly and efficient.

This is a hidden little gem. Room was huge and had a great little patio. Views of the ocean and close to the coastal cafes and ocean walk. Easy convenient parking too!
