"Great property a very short drive from Selfoss. We stayed a week in early November. The check in book is very thorough. I am very glad the beds were comfortable (rare these days with rental properties) and the owners were very quick to respond with all communication both prior and during our stay. The only complaints i can think of is that we could not find a switch to turn off the deck lighting which would have helped out on getting some better shots of the northern lights (which even with the...

"The best place I have ever stayed"

"The property was absolutely perfect for my group. We had great weather and viewed the northern lights 6 of 7 nights while at the property. Which was awesome saved me from driving to other locations yes the landscape did not change but the views were still amazing. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Iceland. Yes it is a bit of a drive to Reykajavik but the location is great for touring the south coast, golden circle, and areas around the national park."

"We enjoyed our stay at this cabin and it was a nice place to stop along the Golden Circle. The cabin was cozy and clean. We enjoyed watching the northern lights from the hot tub. If we came to this area we would definitely stay here again!"

"Just spent a week at the cabin with my family of 4 (kids are 12 and 15). The cabin had everything you’d need for a family trip. Loved having the sauna and hot tub after chilly days seeing the sights. Jon checked in with me right away to make sure we got in ok (we did!). Highly recommend this cabin!"

"House was immaculate, clean and spacious. Owner was super helpful and always quick to respond. Kitchen was stocked w/ all appliances, dishes, silverware, etc. needed for a comfy stay w/ light cooking. Great neighborhood and had 2 nights of Northern Lights gazing from the hot tub! Two notes: Google maps is not accurate, so getting to the correct street was tricky. Upstairs bathroom does not have a shower or tub -- sink and toilet only, but we made that work just fine."

"Bedroom was comfortable with a good, hot shower. Bed was really good and well needed after a long day exploring. Loved all the little hooks around the room for hanging stuff. (Would have liked a drying room in the hotel for our wet things!) The food options were good as was the bar (if both a little pricey compared to UK prices) Roof terrace was nice to look out over the little town. Bakery and supermarket very close for bits and pieces. Walkable in a few minutes. Would definitely return here. We had a hire car and it was about 45 mins to the airport. On the golden circle though so easy to access all roads to wherever we needed to go. "

"The cottage met our expectations. We wanted a rural location with a hot tub and centrally located in the Golden Circle. This was exactly what we got. Staff was very responsive to our questions and asks. I would definitely come back to this location again. "

Just stay here already!....

"Such a unique and amazing experience... our bubble was cozy and felt like we were the only people in the world! The women that checked us in was super funny and nice... and as a side note. . I booked thru hotels.com but accidentally booked for the wrong date (off by one day)... since it was 3rd party vendor i was told theres nothing that can be done ... After contacting resort... they totally switched my date and accommodated my mistake.... i still cant thank them enough!!!"
