"Really modern and nicely decorated property. Over 4 floors so not suitable for very young children or the infirm!Well equipped kitchen. No outdoor space to speak of but close to the beautiful coastline of the Wirral and Heswall village a short drive away with shops and restaurants. "

"First impression was that the threshold at the front door was dirty. The whole house needs a deep clean. I felt pretty uncomfortable with the overall cleanliness. We had issues trying to get on to the Internet. Staff were quick to respond but not with the correct info. The style and decor of the house was lovely but cleanliness let it down We also had issues with the boiler, no hot water and a lack of towels. On a positive note we didnt let the issues spoil our family get...

"A very clean, comfortable cottage. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. Easy access to main road and surrounding areas. Safe parking outside property. "

"It was ok the house was clean and modern but my room had some issues that were never resolved No blinds on the window.. then i found them in drawer Headboard broken Temperature knob for radiator snapped off"

"After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform."

"Before arriving the house caretakers emailed explaining that the shower roller was broken, and the landing lights were not working. An issue as the top of the stairs are tricky with a stair gate and cut away step outside the bathroom. We were supplied with battery operated lights to remedy this. We arrived to find a bottle of Prosecco, milk, tea and crisps which was really nice. The decor was contemporary, beds comfortable, and generally a pleasant environment. "Lovely accommodation and central for many attractions in this part of the country. The Barn is in a peaceful area and it was easy to get to everywhere we wanted. Adam was an exemplary host making sure we had everything we needed and were happy with the accommodation. Couldn't have asked for more."
