"Friendly staff, superb quality breakfast (smoked salmon with hollandaise on muffin, and a cooked breakfast for my husband). Exterior was very American motel and the place would benefit from an upgrade. However, we thought it was reasonably good value, we could park outside our room, the central area was warm and inviting in feel, bed was very comfy and the room was warm. "A traditional coaching inn that has been well cared for. The en suite was fairly new and the bedroom small but adequate; both were clean and nicely presented. Dinner food/service both very good. Breakfast adequate. All in all we were both very pleased with our decision to stay here. "
