"Perhaps it was our mood, perhaps it was a comparison to the last time we stayed in a mid-price range motel in Queens, just 3 months ago. We were quite pleased with the Adria. Yes, the hotel is dated, but it had: plenty of conveniently placed electric outlets; good lighting, comfortable chairs, beds that everyone in our party found excellent. PLENTY of free parking! Twice I called the hotel, once before our stay, once during. I got a real, live, on the property person who knew the answers. A great non-chain place to stay, and we look forward to return visits. The self-serve breakfast was generic but tastier. Pastries and excellent (you-make waffles.) The scrambled eggs. Just no, but that's me."
