"A couple of us are from the UP and are very happy with our stay but… finding the property proved to be difficult as there is not a proper and well defined address or signage and the driveway or lack there of is a big BIG problem, the cabin itself was absolutely a dream but that is all I would give a positive feedback on, the fire pit was great and it was fully stocked but the creek as described in the picture is non existent but overall it was a good stay"

"We had such an amazing stay at cabin 1. We both slept great on a very comfortable bed. Location is ideal for short day trips. We checked out whitefish point and Tahquamenon falls in the day and finish the night with a great bonfire right on the lake. Made sure to take advantage of both early sunrises over a nice cup of coffee. Carrie is very accommodating and Great suggestions that we took Paul for breakfast on our way out. We definitely will be booking this Cabin again in the future and...

"We wanted a weekend away with just the 2 of us. We wanted a secluded, cozy cabin in the woods. That is exactly what we got. The cabin was clean, cozy, we loved the white Christmas lights which made it cozier. We felt like 2 giggling kids laying in the full size bed. This cabin was everything we wanted. "This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. There were 2 large box fans provided so we didn't need the one that we had brought and there was a small tv to help the kids wind down and relax at night. "We were pleasantly amazed how isolated we found the location . Very few people were on the beach. We managed the “non potable” water for cooking and cleaning. I was thankful I brought my air fryer to cook meats/potatoes in. I’m a foodie! We navigated our beach equipment down the VERY steep trail s as bd settled in gor many gorgeous beach and rockhounding days. We even hunted for rocks at night! "The cabin is exactly as described on VRBO. We had a little difficulty with the lockbox (probably because both my husband and I have arthritis in our hands). The lake is beautiful and peaceful. "Great place to stay, the hostess was very responsive to our questions and stopped personally by to check and make sure we had everything we needed. "My wife and I spent a long weekend in the UP with our son and daughter in law and we are so happy we found this location. It was great for us! The place is just like it looks in the pictures, so no surprises! It's on a dirt road but only about a quarter mile off the pavement. As a result, it is VERY quiet, since the only cars you'll see are for other residents. We were there 4 days and saw the same truck twice... that's it! One thing that is not shown in the pictures is the pool table. Nice...

"This was a quaint, lovely place to stay. 2 BR and 2 Baths. Loved that the woods was behind it and view thru window was peaceful. Stayed on a Friday and Saturday so was able to walk across street to the Tahquamenon Lodge and buy a yummy breakfast at very good price. They serve Sat and Sunday mornings. There is also a bar across street that serves burgers, etc. So very convenient. Had a problem with bathroom light but called and got a call back quickly. It was fixed immediately.
