"It was so clean, tidy, and fragrant in my room! The humidifier kept my room cool and it was so nice to have been upgraded with a private shower! Receptionist was also very friendly and super helpful :) I felt very comfortable and relaxed here. Thanks Pension Elisabeth :)"

"The property was excellent and the staff was wonderful! The area is a very small village but its very walkable, and has a quaint vibe about it. The staff was excellent, and though I didnt speak a great deal of German, and they didnt speak a great deal of english, they were very friendly, and even one very nice lady in the mornings was able to teach me some.German. This is a very nice place for a relaxing experience that near a large town, but still out of the way. "

"I was due to arrive on Friday 27th Jan due to my 11 yr old son collapsing at school and being diagnosed with a serious heart condition I had to cancel the trip. The hotel refused a refund and when Expedia approached them on my behalf, they did not answer their phone or e-mails. Terrible customer service."

"In der Ankündigung war von Kaffee und Obst in der Gemeinschaftsküche die Rede... Nichts von allem war vorhanden. Eine Toilette war kaputt, dadurch nur ein komplettes Bad für das gesamte Haus (ca. 20 Personen). Haus ist auf dem Berg gelegen - für Radfahrer schwierig. Alles in allem sehr einfach und anonym. "

"The hotel is a traditional German Gasthof with rooms above a traditional Bavarian restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious food, slightly over priced, in my opinion. The room was perfect for me. The bed was comfortable, firm but not too firm. I would stay again in a heartbeat."

"Room was clean but dated, with random screw sticking 1 cm out of the floor carpet, creating a trip/cut hazard. Breakfast, which we paid for, was not served until 800 am, and we had to leave for the airport at 700 am, so received no breakfast. Not even coffee was available at 700 am, as far as we could tell. No gasthaus staff were present when we checked in at 600 pm or when we left at 700 am, and the restaurant was not operating. "

"We stayed in Gastehaus Flora for one night, the reservation made just the day before our stay due to a mixup in another booking. We were warmly greeted and shown to our room on the second floor. Our room was delightful with a comfortable bed and a couch, tables and chairs, and a sizeable balcony we could sit out on. "Stayed in this hotel in April 2025. Room was small, but comfortable and clean. The hallway is made with tiles, without any carpets, so it was getting a bit noisy when anyone was walking by/talking outside the room. There is an elevator with clear glass walls which made a nice view of surrounding area. Breakfast had a good selection of food, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price (ours was included with the room). The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at arte Hotel Salzburg. The hotel has a modern and stylish vibe, with spacious rooms that were clean, comfortable, and well-designed. We especially loved the large windows and stunning views of the city and surrounding mountains—it really added something special to our stay. The location is super convenient, right next to the main train station and just a short walk or ride to the old town. It was the perfect base for exploring Salzburg. The staff were friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, arte Hotel Salzburg was a great place to stay—modern, comfortable, and in a perfect spot. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to others!"

"The property is in the mid point between train station and historical.town center and within easy walking distance to both. We arrived at noon time and was able to check in. We also got upgraded to a newly refurbished room which looks very new and all interior are very well done with high quality material. It is an enjoyable stay."
