"The Omni Homestead is the perfect location for a quick ski getaway. Overall we enjoyed our stay, however there were a few kinks with service, that could stand to be ironed out. The wait staff in the Jefferson Taproom was not the most attentive. On two occassions we had to wait for sometone to come and take our order and even bring waters. "Place is way way off the beaten track. Didn't like that I had to go to a property manager to get paperwork with door code. It was out of the way, as I was supposed to go to Covington and it would have made the trip longer to go past one of the routes to the place, for a door code. Used to having door code on site with all the information. Lovely house, but internet is very very slow and couldn't watch anything but DVD's.
