"Pretty old, but well maintained motel. Big rooms. Small bathroom. Friendly stuff. Sometimes shady guests. But mostly people are nice. I usually stay here when I come to ski at Snowshoe or run some trails or GBRT Marathon. "

Only concern I have is the noise from interstate which is very close. This isn't the motel's fault. I stayed for 3 nights for a conference I was attending in Clifton Forge. "This stay wasn’t bad, overall, but the property is very unusual. The hotel itself has no office or attendant in the building itself but has an employee in the diner next door, and that is where one checks in and out as well. In addition, the property is two stories but has no elevator or any luggage carts. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. And the food at the diner was delicious. "

"I thought the staff was excellent, i never met them but they are very nice abd helpful. I could not make the trip due illness, i couldn't get anyone from expedia to help me. So i called the Hotel and they said they would gladly return my money, but expedia would not let them. So Hotel staff was amazing. Expedia was the worst, will stay at hotel but will never use expedia again."
