Two young ladies on a weekend adventure together! Marlinton Motor Inn was pleasantly safe and comfortable. So happy to have found a great place for my friend and I to have stayed. I booked online and did not know what to expect.

This was the only reasonably priced place we could find for our trip to Snowshoe. The room was spacious and updated…much nicer than the photos on expedia. Warm and comfortable and the drive to Snowshoe was very beautiful and passed quickly each day. I am glad we chose to stay here!

Only real option if you are planning a quick ski trip to Snowshoe. Very outdated, Bring your own toiletries. Be prepared, restaurant and lounge are permanently closed, no place to eat. It says jacuzzi but there is none. Staff incredibly unhelpful and disinterested. Too bad, could be a great place.

Pleasant surprise!
We were not expecting much for a motel that has obviously been around for a long time (i.e. old), but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were quiet, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The only disappointment was the onsite restaurant has closed.
