We stayed a week with some significant atmospheric river storms with much rain and wind, and the area lost power twice, but it was restored quite quickly (kudos to Grays Harbor utility) and the host kept us informed. "It has a wonderful ocean view. It was a little older but still very cozy. It had easy access to the ocean. The loft had some narrow stairs to go up and down, so need to be careful. The deck on the back was very nice to sit and watch the ocean waves. "

Home had everything needed, such a cute backyard we only wished it had been warm enough outside to enjoy sitting on the decks. We enjoyed the walkable distance to the beach and town. Our pup thoroughly enjoyed lounging on the setee in the living room and keeping a watch out the window. The gas fireplace kept us cozy in the below freezing temperatures at night. "This home was perfect for a getaway to relax and storm watch from the comfortable living room sofa. Check in was a breeze and the home owner communication was excellent. Everything was clean and stocked, making it simple and stress free. The trail to the beach was easier than expected, too! Would love to go back sometime! "The Sandcastle house was clean and inviting. It was well stocked with dishwasher soaps, paper towels, and trash bags. There were plenty of extra blankets for the night and plenty of beach towels for the hot tub. The hot tub fits 6 teens very well. The kitchen had a large crockpot that I used to serve hot apple cider. The laundry unit in the house was amply stocked with washer pods but I did not see any dryer sheets.
