"This was our second time staying at Caribbean Shores. It's clean, comfortable, and the setting is very relaxing. The hot water wasn't working properly in our shower, but it was at least warmer than the solar showers where we stayed prior. Everything is relative. :). This property is a little ways out of Hopkins Village proper, but there are restaurants in short walking distance. It's also not on the beach, but we weren't looking for that since we liked the location for access to Bocawina/Mayflower, the Jaguar Preserve, and other sites."

"The resort is beautiful! Lovely grounds with rainforest surrounding and opportunities to view wildlife on the property. Amazing waterfall hikes. The staff were so caring and involved in our stay. They made certain that we understood the trails and where we were going. The Wild Fig restaurant was very good with several options each night. We stayed in a basic room. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. We had an amazing experience! If you are looking for an adventure in the rainforest, this is your place! Highly recommend!"

"Our time at the Baby Blue Cabana was nothing short of magical. This charming, simple spot truly has everything you need to enjoy your time in Hopkins, Belize. Nestled right in the heart of the entertainment district (if you can call it that in this laid-back village), it’s the perfect place to immerse yourself in the local culture.You’ll find yourself surrounded by an eclectic mix of local bars, restaurants, and businesses run by both welcoming locals and expats from around the globe. One of the highlights for us was being just a short 10-minute drive from the best birria tacos we’ve ever had anywhere in the world! Beef Masters Pasture-Raised Farm has a food truck that is a must-visit; their tacos are absolutely incredible.What really made this experience stand out, though, were the people. The locals welcomed us with open arms and genuine warmth, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s hard to overstate how special it is to feel so embraced by a community while traveling.If you’re looking for a simple, authentic, and wonderfully located spot to stay in Hopkins, the Baby Blue Cabana is the perfect choice. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a gateway to incredible food, a vibrant atmosphere, and unforgettable memories."

"Shelley and Lesta are fabulous and work diligently to meet all needs. Very well stocked property. Beautiful bedrooms for all occupants. Walkable to multiple restaurants. With bad weather, pool heater not working was a disappointment. Areas of improvement are need for a good grill; beach chairs for all occupants;beach toys, a kayak and a fully functional paddle board."
