The roaring fire in the loung area made for an enjoyable evening talking and sharing stories with fellow traverlers. The staff made us feel at home the minute we walked through the door. "What a sweet spot to stay - run by a family who lives in-house downstairs & provides immediate service when you need it. Lovely drawing & dining rooms, bar for whisky tastings & breakfast area with homecooked (and included) breakfasts. Amenities were great, rooms large & cost."
