"Booked two nights on a whim , we both loved it the room was perfect they even made sure we had same room both nights . Food was fantastic as well great service dog friendly which was so good to see . We ran over into late check out and was late for breakfast the staff wasn't fazed at all 10/10 stay definitely recommend "

"Pricey, but really convenient location, a comfortable bed, great shower in our ensuite bathroom and decent breakfast. Staff really welcoming too. Enjoyed our brief (one night) stay."

"Nicely appointed room with only a little noise from the pub (expected tbh as it was Saturday night) which stopped by 11.30pm. Staff were great and very friendly. Pub food was good. Room smelt a little strange and couldn't get the bathroom radiator to work, but other than that everything was great. Breakfast provisions were more than adequate."

"The Fleece inn, was a little hidden gem. Was a great pub that was furnished and decorated to a very high standard. They food was very nice and very good value. All the staff were very friendly. I would for sure Go back! "

"Good welcome, room was lovely and warm and bedding clean and plenty of pillows and spotlessly clean towels. Nice touch of biscuits and chocolate. Great location and good price. Sadly there were signs of mould around the door and bathroom tiling could do with a more intense cleaning of the grout as orange/yellow build up, plus I shared the bathroom with two very large spiders that were well established as had webs in corners. Having said this, I would use the Wellington again as really convenient...

"There were not curtains or black out curtains on the windows. The mirror had emotion detection led lights and as I was trying to switch them off I found a syringe, thankfully without the needle. I'm very disappointed with the overall condition of the room."
