"Every year, we give our children a Christmas adventure. This year, our accommodations were part of the adventure and my children loved every minute. In fact, they were begging to "go back home" whenever we were out seeing the attractions. We can't wait to return. "

"Well appointed, small guest house with easy access in a quiet neighborhood. Second time our group has stayed here. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the area. The host was very responsive and easy to work with."

"This place was horrible. When we arrived the cleaning/maintenance people were outside having a screaming match. There were mouse droppings in the cabinets with the dishes. There were acorns on the couch. One of the queen size beds were broken and unable to be slept in. There was supposed to be a pull out couch which in fact was a blow up mattress. "Big house with room for lots of people adults and kids. Great location on lake basically all by yourself. We kayaked across the lake and hiked around it. Many other hiking trails in the area. Great history in all directions. Easy access to skiing and the ocean. "

The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
