"We haven’t left yet, but thought we’d share how things are going. The check-in was smooth. We were able to check in early (for a fee). There is also a parking fee. There are plenty of carts to assist with luggage and coolers and such. There’s plenty of activities available (Magiquest, Build a Bear,waterpark, characters, bowling) and lots of on-site food and beverage options (sit down, ice cream, pizza), a gift store. "If you enjoy vacationing with a vintage feel, this is your place! Quiet , quaint (no air conditioning in hotel, but fan provided, no TV, sketchy wifi, no fridge in room), friendly and helpful staff. A great place to shake off tension and enjoy a relaxed and old-fashioned vibe."

"The cabin was as expected but very upset that the refrigerator froze all of my fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, etc. Complained at the front desk and really got no response other than they would let the manager know. Also had our boat torn up on the docks due to high winds. Although the resort certainly cannot control the weather, putting bumpers or hanging a tire over the metal poles would have saved us considerable damage. Door was difficult to figure out how to lock and just a simple sign...

We were pleased that both the upper and lower units had fully equipped kitchens with fully stocked cabinets and all the appliances that we needed.
