"I am new to the area as i am relocating for my job. The hotel had stores on both sides. It was literally across the street from the weeki wachee state park. The ladies at the front desk were polite and very helpful with info and places to see and do. "

"The Port hotel is right on the water so the view from the room - which is a bit outdated - but clean - is really nice. I heard that all their rooms face the water! Oddly our room had no drawers. There was a rolling metal basket type thing in a cabinet, but no dresser, or even shelves in the closet. There is a restaurant & bar on site, we didn't eat/drink there, but they looked nice - the bar area has amazing views. There is also a marina that has a super cute shop with everything you could want for a day on the water. It's sad that they're building a big hotel, marina & eventually condos on this site, because the old Florida charm that is currently has (minus the construction site), will be gone. I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area. "

"Room & bathroom very clean. Had to ask for hairdryer at front desk but not a problem. Landscaping taken care of out front. All staff I encountered were extremely friendly & helpful. Will stay again when in the area!"
