The hotel is definitely older but it is a well kept facility that appears to have went through fairly recent renovations. The rooms are fairly spacious with tall 10 ft ceilings. Staff was perfectly nice and helpful. A decent place to take a family. The continental breakfast was reasonably good and definitely adds some value. I would not call it a 3 star hotel but would not call it a two star either. I would recommend just don't expect Holiday Inn level accomadations. A bit above average of an experience and for the price it is quite reasonable of a deal.

The building is quite worn. The online price is not what is charged. They said they could not reduce the price and that third parties have better rates. I chose EXPEDIA because they teased with a low rate, but in the end it only took a couple of bucks off the price. We have stayed a much nicer places for way less money.

The property is in need of upgrades. The sink was infested with drain flies and under the lip around the sink was filthy. There was no desk in the room, and the room had a strange smell. Booking through Expedia provided no means to specify that we needed a first floor room due to no elevator and we can't handle stairs. When we arrived, we discovered we were booked in a 2nd floor room. The reception staff is limited in what they can change on 3rd party boikings, but the lady at the front desk was able to get it taken care of.

Stayed 3 nights in (regular) King Suite. Loved everything! Excellent & friendly staff, speedy service, very clean rooms, very spacious, great location, felt safe and well lit, Liked the parking too and having a room to the outside. For a 3 star hotel & for the value and the area, property age, etc., they more than deserve 5 Gold Stars. Also liked how close it was to the Crystal River for swimming with Manatees & to the Weeki Washee Springs Park which is where the Mermaids are. Not a whole lot of a night life in Spring Hill, though the Capone’s (pool hall / bar) nearby was a real treat. We also ran into a couple of FEMA refugees staying at the hotel and they, too, were very very nice. Thought it was really cool that the hotel opened their doors to them.

Property was clean and easy to find. Very close to Weeki Wachee which is why we stayed there. There are restaurants and stores close by so everything you need is within a few minutes drive.

Dirty room smelled like someone had smoked in here prior and just way too noisy a room had asked for a rear facing room but couldn't get that......dangerous bathroom access with 2 steps up and a 3 foot step into the tub for a shower
