"Only stayed over the night and first thing was how nice the area was, the reception staff were great, felt comfortable on arrival. Booked a table for meal that night and again really easy and comfortable and staff still amazing . Food was nice too, Room was comfortable for our short stay, had breakfast in morning with plenty of choice again nice food and great staff. Woukd stay there sgain "

"Good location - staff friendly and helpful - room lightening very dull to read anything only bathroom light bright - no lifts only stairs - beds were small I was frightened to turn over incase I fell out of bed - seems an old building g needs a refurb to modernise it - windows didn’t open to stay open enough to get signing and radiators in a timer room very warm- otherwise it served the purpose glad we only stayed 1 night "

"The room was good except that it was very cold, the radiator was turned up high but the room never got warm. The duvet was only Summer weight so we had to use a towel and our coats to try and keep warm. Breakfast was continental and good, but a full English would have been preferred after a cold night! The ladies who served breakfast were lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. "

"We had such a lovely stay, the staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The restaurant itself was clean, warm and cozy, with a really inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious! Our dishes were well-prepared and full of flavour. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into the menu and the ingredients. Also they do the best cup of coffee! "One night stay along with our 15yr old son. All 3 of us stayed in the same room which was very spacious, set out lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the decor and fealt comfortable right from first entering. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but nothing to worry about at all. The management and staff couldn’t be more helpful during our stay right from checking in to having a bite to eat and a few drinks in the bar. Need to say, the meal we had was professionally cooked and...

"Went to wedding in the area, ideal.spot good clean and comfortable room , good brealfast we needed to be off early and they provided breakfast for us . Would recommend if in this area ."

"Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "
