"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

"Accommodation was clean, comfortable, within close walking distance to a few eateries and shops, and near Peak District favorites such as Chatsworth House and Bakewell. The children especially enjoyed the playground just across from the back garden. Our only disappointment was that the listing said there was a hot tub, but that must have been an error. All in all a great stay!"

"Very good location for 6-10 mile hikes with wonderfully far reaching views on a clear day,The house was fine however would benefit from having more mugs and glasses, also its own heating controls. Very helpful owners live in one end of the building "

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage over Christmas week. The property was immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed—compact but with everything you could possibly need. It felt cozy yet modern, and the attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home.The location is fantastic, just a short distance from Castle Hill, which made for some lovely winter walks with stunning views. "We hadn’t appreciated what a gorgeous location this property was in. The view from the front of the cottage over the reservoir is gorgeous, and a first floor reading nook is so cosy and gives the feeling of being by the sea side! The property is really tastefully decorated, making it feel like a home from home. The check in process was really smooth and easy to understand. The weather during our visit was terrible but we would love to come back again with better weather to take advantage of all...
